Ali Baba Tajine has been delivering Moroccan cooking pots to lovers of healthy cuisine all over Europe for over 30 years. Plenty of time for the Allgäu-based company to take the long and winding road from street vendor via mail-order to webshop. A situation familiar to many other companies: Defining a consistent visual identity isn't the most important thing to do. That leads to of lots of different solutions and variety, but provides no structure.
That were the facts when Jochen Walter told us about his plan to revamp the webshop to suit current requirements. Working closely with him we did a complete rebranding using bright Moroccan colors and emphasizing 25 years of company tradition as well as an excellent, lovingly handcrafted product in equal amounts.
The functional webshop makes you want to try out tajine cooking and lets you know everything you want to know about it. It streamlines the ordering process–not only for the customers but also for the Ali Baba staff. Along the website we developed a whole design system for print and advertising. By using stamps, risography and silk screen printing, the keywords »Unique« and »Handmade« were translated into the design itself. Bon Appétit!
